The Radiance Charitable Trust is a government registered non-profit, public charitable trust.
We provide support for the Underprivileged Palliative Care Cancer patients and Dialysis patients by providing them with the required Medical Consumables/ Disposables used for their treatment.

The idea was conceived to commemorate the memories of our beloved Uncle and Godfather, Mr Rama Krishnan, who was a dialysis patient, and Mr V.C.Arunachalam, a Cancer patient who fought against it till his last breath.

The first step was creating the Facebook page “In Support For The Cancer Patients” in 2018, wherein, the main focus was given to the underprivileged patients who are getting treatment at government institutions, Cancer homes and free Dialysis centres. This led to the creation of “The Radiance Charitable Trust” which will support children, the elderly and the needy who are fighting against this dreadful disease and help them to fight and win it and get back to their normal life.

About The Founder

The founder Mr Hariharan Thangavelu is a Modern Applied Psychologist, NLP Practitioner, Author and Social Worker.

He has been counselling many patients and their family members to overcome their challenges. He spends quality time with them to understand their difficulties in facing Cancer. He firmly believes that all patients need love and care and confidence to fight against this cruel disease. Although Mr Hariharan does not promise to cure the disease, he does give positive hope to the people who approach him. Even their family members are drawn to him and they share the happening in their family. Hariharan believes that we can achieve this only if we show unconditional love to these people.

It is not possible for us to support the patients as an individual. We need to join our hands together and work collectively to help the needy. We are getting many requests from patients for free Palliative Care and Dialysis. Therefore, any amount of money that would not put a dent on an individual could be donated on a monthly basis to Radiance Charitable Trust. It would go a long way for these patients to live with dignity and a better quality of life.

We would also like to invite people who would like to render their services as volunteers and participate in the various activities at Radiance. If the hospital management allows them to meet patients they can give them positive hope to overcome their suffering.

Serving the needy is a noble act and it gives a sense of fulfilment.

Radiance Charitable Trust thanks Dr Srinivas, Dr Suman Kalyan, Family and friends and all well-wishers for their motivation and continuous support in all our endeavours.
